SOMETHING WICKED #12 (2016)
I'm in this horror anthology from Futurequake Press with The Half-Baked Sacrifice, a four-page story about a psychotic toaster with amazing art by Lukas Kowalczuk and letters by Bolt-01.
Pick up a physical copy from the publisher's website or get it digitally from Comixology.
The Gathering: Noir (2015)
I appeared in this noir-themed anthology from Grayhaven Press with The Case Study, a four-page story about the dark, desperate underworld of corporate executives. It was drawn by Patrick "Podge" Daly and lettered/edited by Marc Lombardi.
Sadly the Grayhaven website is offline as of this writing, but I'll try to update this if/when it comes back.
SOMETHING WICKED 2018
A return appearance by me in Futurequake's horror anthology, this book features the story ChitChatChum, with art by Mike Walters, diving into some Black-Mirror-esque grim tech body horror territory.
You can grab a physical copy from the publisher's website, or a digital one from Comixology.
IF ANTHOLOGY - HORROR (2018)
I have a five-pager in this anthology called Jenny & Max, covering the dark side of cute internet cats, art by Robert Ahmad and letters by DC Hopkins - better known (to me) for their work on my 2017 free Christmas story.
You can get the whole book on Amazon or it is actually available from Diamond Previews too if you want to order it into a comic shop.
WORK ANTHOLOGY (2018)
I've got a two-pager in this work-themed anthology from London's very own WIP Comics group, called Retirement Plan with art and letters by AI Miller.
A Chimerical World - Tales Of The Unseelie Court (2014)
I feature in this anthology about the anthology from Seventh Star Press about the dark side of fairies. My story is called The Fool And His Money and finally reveals where all that non-existent money in the financial crash came from: evil fairies, obviously.
You can buy the book in print or ebook from Amazon US and Amazon UK.
Hero's Best Friend (2014)
I'm in this anthology from Seventh Star Press about animal companions of all shapes and sizes. In my story, The Violet Curse, a loyal dog tries to help her heroic owner save the day, but is she ultimately the biggest danger?
Get the book now in print or digital from Amazon US or Amazon UK.
Soup of Souls (2011)
In this collection of moralistic horror stories from Panic Press, I have a story entitled 1,000,000. It is faintly ridiculous, but kinda impressive in its sheer commitment to that.
Available from Lulu as an expensive hardback, not to mention a slightly less expensive paperback and, last of all, a reasonably priced PDF.
Standing In The Kitchen At Parties (2011)
One of my first published stories is in this book from Deserted By Dignity - it's called Blood Will Stream and is about a woman livestreaming the murder of her boyfriend. (Did I later re-use this title for a Hobson & Choi book? Why yes, I did.)
Print book available on Amazon. You can also get the book cheaper on Lulu, or buy it as a £3 PDF on the same site.
A few other prose stories, online in various places. Don't forget, you can also get a bunch of free comics on this very website.
- My story The Soul Cost, representing Brixton on the Urban Story project.
- Short story Low on With Painted Words.
- Various short stories on the FridayFlash tag of the blog, back when I used to do that. (I may have curated these a bit when moving over to the new website.)
